JAC 12th Arts Result 2025: Dev Tiwari Tops, Girls Shine in Top 10 List

Dev Tiwari Clinches Top Spot in JAC 12th Arts Result 2025
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) unveiled the Class 12 Arts results for 2025, setting off waves of excitement across the state. Snagging the spotlight, Dev Tiwari, a student from Plus Two JK High School in Rajmahal, outperformed more than two lakh candidates, scoring an impressive 481 out of 500. That’s not just high; it’s the kind of score that has classmates and teachers buzzing. What’s even more impressive is that Dev’s win came from countless hours of steady prep—no wild shortcuts, just stamina and brainpower.
Hot on his heels, Prerna Kumari from Plus 2 High School, Padma, Hazaribagh, brought home 470 marks, securing the second spot. Meanwhile, there was a rare tie for the third place: Suraj Kumar Das of Plus 2 High School, Rajmahal, and Kumari Reetimbara from Kunhar Lalo, both locking in 466 marks. While the numbers are striking, the sheer drive behind these students is what’s really stirring up conversations across schools, tuition centers, and group chats.
Girls Dominate Rankings; Pass Rate Soars Across Jharkhand
Here’s something that stood out in this year’s JAC 12th Arts Result: girls took over the top-10 rankings. That’s more than just numbers. It’s a sign of changing attitudes and growing opportunities for young women in the region. Schools are already celebrating this shift, with staff and parents sharing the pride of seeing girls excel at the highest levels.
The overall pass rate this year soared to 95.62%. Out of 2,27,222 students who tried their luck and skills, 2,17,273 crossed the finish line. That means more than 95 out of every 100 students made it—and these aren’t just small-town numbers. When you break things down by district, Ranchi stole the show, with 22,946 students out of 23,745 passing. That’s almost a clean sweep and a massive leap for student confidence in the region.
Parents and teachers aren’t the only ones cheering. The Jharkhand government is rolling out a heap of rewards: the top three rank holders will get up to ₹3 lakh in cash, state-of-the-art laptops, and brand new mobile phones. The hope here is clear—to keep the academic fire burning and make sure bright students know their hard work pays off in real, visible ways.
Results came out on June 5 and are up for grabs online, with students checking their scores on jacresults.com and DigiLocker. The exam, which ran from February 11 to March 4, 2025, saw tight security and detailed planning to avoid leaks or issues—a challenge considering how many students were involved.
The rush of joy, relief, and sometimes heartbreak is playing out in families across Jharkhand, but this year, it’s the huge jump in success rates, the performance of girls in the top spots, and rewarding top students with incentives that will stick in everyone’s mind as the real story of JAC Arts 2025.
